Description of the Estate
The
estate covers an irregular surface at the base of the fills of about
fifty hectares of which, a little less than forty are cultivated as
vineyards. The quality cultivated is in prevalence Cannonau of
Sardinia DOC. Other autocthonous qualities are grow and a
few hectares are dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese.
In 1995 Alberto Loi's boys: Gianluigi, Sergio, Alessandro, Anna Giulia, Renato and his wife Leila Corona, restructured the cellars with the construction of a new wing on the west part of old building and the extension of the east wing. In the west wing there is a section dedicated to the processing of the grapes, where are situated horizontal presses and forty wine tanks in stainless steel for eight thousand temperature controlled hectolitres. In the east wing are located the bottling hall, packaging department and stock of the finished product. The underground cellar is reserved for the maturing in wood. Vitivinicola
