Gastronomic  accompaniments

The Cannonau of Sardinia, with relation to its type, can accompany a large number of dishes whether first or second courses, also hors oeuvres, especially the Rosè cannonau. The red cannonau is rightly considered a good wine for roast, quite adequately accompanys dish based on lamb, pork, red meats, game and (especially the “Riserva” and “Tuvara”) join extremely well a braised, strews and stews. It is well-matched with cheese, particularly pecorino matured cheeses.
